Welcome to the world of Adora!

We are Adora, Lumimarja (vocals) and Päivyt (guitars, background vocals) from Finland, musical companions and counterparts for 10 years now. Adora was founded in 2004 and before that we played in a band called Jayva which unfortunately no longer exists - at least for now.

In Adora´s music you can hear northern melancholic, ethereal echoes with deep shades of the dark combining with shimmer of the light. Where the opposites meet, there are we, weaving delicate and fierce, blithe and profound, tender and rough elements into our songs.

Beyond all this is Dora, our fragile but fervent imaginary muse whose silenced voice we are and whose story we tell. We wish that you will listen to it - not only with your ears but with every inch of you.
